TEORIA DE LA DECISION(abstract)

RESUME:
The decision theory is an interdisciplinary field of study associated with almost all participants in branches of science, engineering primarily consumer psychology (based on cognitive-behavioral perspective). It concerns the form and the study of behavior and psychic phenomena of those who make the decisions (real or fictional) and the conditions that must be taken the optimal decisions.
Most of the decision theory is normative or prescriptive, ie concerns the identification of the best decision can be taken, assuming that a person having to make decisions (decision maker) is able to be in an environment of Full details can calculate accurately and completely rational. The practical application of this prescriptive approach (how people should do and make decisions) is called decision analysis, and provides search tools, methodologies and software to help people make better decisions. Software tools dedicated to this type of aid are under the overall designation system for decision support (decision support systems, abbreviated ingl. As DSS ').
Since it is obvious that people are not in optimal and with the intention of making the theory more realistic, has created a related study area that is responsible for part of the positive or descriptive discipline, attempting to describe who will is the decision maker before making the declaration. It was believed in this theory because the normative theory, works only under optimal decision often creates hypotheses for testing, something remote from everyday reality, the two fields are closely related. However it is possible to relax some assumptions of perfect information that comes to the subject who makes decisions, it can lower its rationality and so on until a series of prescriptions or predictions about the behavior of the person who makes decisions, enabling to check what happens in practice everyday.
